Crab Meal 4-3-0
KAWA Crab Meal is used to encourage hardy root growth, and can be
used in a watering program or just applied dry. Crab meal has the
highest calcium rating available in organic fertilizers. Calcium is
essential for plant development and helps develop cell walls and
root tips.
Directions
For specific vegetable and applications the use for the crab meal
will be different. For instance, vegetables should have 5 lbs for
each 50 foot row. Other uses include:

House plants at 2 ounces per flower.
●
Tomatoes at 4 ounces per plant.
●
Trees at 4 lbs. per tree.

Fish Bone Meal 5-15-0
KAWA Fish Bone Meal is a marine based alternative to traditional
steamed bone meal and is wonderful for all flowering plants, trees
and shrubs. A great source of Phosphorus and Calcium, Fish Bone Meal
also contains a small amount of Nitrogen and is an ideal fertilizer
for new garden beds, perennials and bulbs.
Directions
●
For greenhouses and gardens the 10 pound jug covers approximately
500 square feet.
●
For container plants or bulbs sprinkle 1-3 teaspoons into root zone
before planting.
●
For pasture or lawns broadcast 7 to 10 pounds per 1000 square feet.
●
For flowers, fruits, or vegetable crops broadcast 15 to 20 pounds
per 1000 square feet.

Shrimp Meal 6-6-0
KAWA
Shrimp Meal 6-6-0 Fertilizer and Soil Conditioner is an excellent
source of nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and chitin. Shrimp Meal can
be used in vegetable, flower, herb and ornamental gardens. When
Shrimp Meal is used in Composts, it acts as a bio-activator.
Directions
●
Vegetables/ Flowers:
Apply 2 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into soil. To
feed established plants, side dress 2-4 oz, depending on plant size.
●
Containers:
Add 1-2 Tbsp per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly or mix 10 lbs
per cubic yard.
●
Trees/ Shrubs: Apply
1-2 lbs per 1-inch of trunk diameter, extend outwards from base to
the drip line. Mix into soil surface and water well.

Bone Meal 4-16-0
Bone Meal is a by-product from meat rendering plants. It consists of
ground animal bones that have been cooked and sterilized, and then
ground into a meal. Kawa Bone Meal is the finest bone meal
available. It provides a slow, steady feeding of phosphorus and
nitrogen, two primary nutrients required by all plants. Bone meal
helps develop sturdy root systems and stimulates plant growth. KAWA
Bone Meal is an ideal supplement to fertilizers for bulbs, flowers,
and roses. It is all natural and approved for organic gardening.
Directions
●
Lawns:
Apply in spring, summer, or fall at the rate of 5 lbs. per 100
square feet.
●
Bulbs & Gardens:
Apply at the rate of 10 lbs. per 100 square feet working well into
soil.
●
Shrubs & Trees:
Apply 1 or 2 lbs. to shrub, tree, or bush depending upon size.
Distribute under entire spread of shrub or tree raking well into
soil. Do not use around plants that require an acidic soil without a
soil test to determine that soil pH is too low.
●
Potted Plants:
Apply 2 ounces or about 1 heaping tablespoonful per pot; work into
soil.

Rapeseed Meal 5-2-1
KAWA Rapeseed Meal is a by-product from food grade rapeseed oil
production. It is an all-natural, organic plant food generally used
for feeding trees and shrubs. It provides plants with all three
essential nutrients, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, which are
necessary for plant growth.
Directions

Shrubs & Trees:
Sprinkle KAWA Rapeseed Meal on the ground over an area slightly
greater than branch spread.

Dried Blood is a by-product of meat rendering plants. It is produced
from the blood of beef and pork, which is dried and then ground into
a meal. KAWA Dried Blood is the finest dried blood available. It
provides a slow, steady feeding of nitrogen, a primary nutrient
which helps to promote rapid growth and deep, dark green color. KAWA
Dried Blood is an ideal supplement for all annuals and perennials.
It is an all-natural material approved for organic gardening. While
The Kawa-Agri Company makes no claims as to any other uses for this
product, some consumers of Dried Blood claim that it is effective as
an animal repellent.

Light feeding 1 pound per 100 square feet.

Feather Meal 12-0-0
KAWA Feather Meal is a great source of nitrogen. Ideal for corn,
leafy greens, trees, shrubs and many vegetables. Dried Feather Meal
is a dependable, relatively inexpensive source of nitrogen. Great
for plants that are heavy nitrogen feeders.
Directions
●
High N 12% that is slowly released (6-9 months or longer in soils
with low biological activity).
●
Use on plants that like a slow release of N including corn, leafy
greens, trees, shrubs, and many other vegetables.
●
1-2 tsp per plant or 5 lbs per 100 sq ft.
